From March 7 to May 4, 2025, ARTECHOUSE DC presents Blooming Wonders, an annual spring exhibition blending art, nature, and technology. Now in its eighth year as an official National Cherry Blossom Festival program, this immersive experience features large-scale floral projections, interactive installations, and digital dreamscapes.
Highlights include PIXELBLOOM: Timeless Butterflies, a cinematic journey through blooming landscapes, and In Rapture, a collaboration with artist Yuko Shimizu that fuses traditional Japanese ink illustrations with digital interactivity. Visitors can also engage with Blossoming Field, an interactive projection installation, and Akousmaflore et Lux, a responsive garden where plants "sing" upon touch. This multisensory exhibition offers a unique way to celebrate the ephemeral beauty of spring in the nation's capital.
